[SOLVED] Thrust problem - Pierino - 09-07-2005

Hi everybody.

All of a sudden, my "Schubregler" (you know, the thing on the joystick that controls thrust) on my Logitech
Wingman Force 3D has started behaving
strangely.
I can't get to idle or full thrust position. Somehow the range of the "Schubregler" seems to be extremely limited.
Strange?!
I know for sure, that this issue isn't connected to FS Passnegers in any way, but as this is the best community I
have seen for a looooooong time, I
take the liberty of asking this question here.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Pierino

First thing to do (if you haven't already done it...) is to re-calibrate your joystick.

This way, la "manette des gaz" (the "Schubregler") maybe going better.

But i can't see how it can be related to FsP

Good luck!

Re: Thrust problem - Pierino - 09-07-2005

thanks for your response.
I did calibrate the joystick several times. And all functions seem to be ok and work fine.
So the did in FS until maybe 2 weeks ago. As I said, this surely isn't caused by FSP.

"La manette des gaz", french is beautiful!
"Schubregler" Sick

I'll try again.

LOL

Instand of "Schubregler" you can use "Gashebel" or even better ......"Triebwerksdrehzahlleistungssteller" Smile

Cheers!

Try adjusting the sensitivities in the FS9 menu for your joystick. Some programs use the same keyboard setup that the throttle and
joystick axis use and it nulls out the controls. Also are you using FSUIPC? If so, check the axis calibrations there also.

Re: Thrust problem - Pierino - 12-07-2005

thank you guys, I finally found it. It was the dead-zone and sensitivity setting in FS. Obviously my other self must have changed the settings some time.
Now my Triebwerksdrehzahlleistungssteller works fine again!

Cheers
