Taking pictures of your plane - rusty11 - 05-07-2005 Can someone please tell me how to take pictures of plane in flight to add on an email or web page or desk top PLEASE Re: Taking pictures of your plane - LukeJGerst - 05-07-2005 The hard way: Press PrtScrn up at the top of your keyboard by the F keys if you'r running FS in fullscreen. If you're runninf FS in window and want to keep your toolbar private, press ALT-PrntScrn. Than open a program such as Paint and press Paste. The picture should be there, but if you pressed PrtScrn twice, it'll only show your last picture. This is because pressing PrntScrn puts a picture of your current display onto the Windows Clipboard. The easy way: Find a freeware program that takes pictures when you push a button on the keyboard. Set it how you want it, and enjoy! Re: Taking pictures of your plane - pagir - 05-07-2005 The best freeware to my knowledge is Irfanview at http://www.irfanview.com/ Pagir Re: Taking pictures of your plane - pagir - 05-07-2005 same thing two times... Pagir Post Edited ( 07-05-05 21:20 ) Re: Taking pictures of your plane - rusty11 - 05-07-2005 Thanks very much I'll try all three ways. Re: Taking pictures of your plane - clut - 06-07-2005 just note, when you do take pictures of your plane, and come to save them, do NOT save them as bmp. format. save them as jpg format. bmp formats are normally huge and take a long time for people to actually view them. jpg's can be 20 times smaller than the same picture as a bmp. Re: Taking pictures of your plane - rusty11 - 06-07-2005 I won't be putting it on here, I just wanted to email to my friend. I'm not good enough at painting to put it on here. Re: Taking pictures of your plane - firebug - 06-07-2005 Check avsim.com for fsscreen. Re: Taking pictures of your plane - mach_one_man - 06-07-2005 clut, however if they are saved from MS Paint in jpegs the quality is often terrible. I normally save in another program and then put the quality at maximum so no artifacts are left. rusty11 I therefore suggest using another program for saving them if your going to go the jpeg route Re: Taking pictures of your plane - rusty11 - 06-07-2005 Thanks everyone for all the ideas. I have one other question. Can you change atc to recognize and speak your fictional airline? Re: Taking pictures of your plane - LukeJGerst - 08-07-2005 Here is the program I use: http://www.ovosoft.nl/snapper/ Download and enjoy! It even places your altitude, heading, and your location relative to the nearest airport when you take a picture in Flight Simulator! :finger: |
