CRJ700 issues - Silverair - 16-07-2013

I try to stay away from the CRJ700 as much as possible. The biggest issue I have is the instantaneous pitch-up that occurs whenever I
engage autopilot, even if I'm A. At my entered VS, or B. BELOW my entered altitude. Does anyone know how to remedy these problems? Bug

The CRJ should not do that at all. I've flown with it loads and worked fine every time. I'm assuming you're using the default CRJ-700.
If you have a joystick or yoke or controller, I would remove any axis assigned to trim surfaces or AP will not work.

Also, check your trim before take-off and engaging the autopilot. It could be your CRJ is tail-heavy in which case you constantly have to push the nose down. When you engage the
autopilot, the trim does not change straight away and takes time so you'd pitch up until the AP has lowered the trim.

However if the fault is your aircraft is tail-heavy when using FSPassengersX, I would advice looking at the payload model and check the C.G.
