C0 Level Planes - Glasgow_Approach - 06-10-2005 Hi all Anybody know a good / challenging / fun plane to fly for c0 level. Im just sick of the default cessnas. Any freeware would be welcome but would check out any payware suggestions. Thanks GA Re: C0 Level Planes - SaVas - 06-10-2005 Search Avsim for Bill Lyons, and look at his little freeware aircraft. He adds a lot of little fun things to his stuff and before this past summer they were payware. He tends to add sceneries, or some have vehicles that you can drive around, little sound files, radios that you can use to play CDs with on your computer, etc. Re: C0 Level Planes - Dutch64 - 06-10-2005 Nice tip, I will check that one too ![]() Re: C0 Level Planes - vaccaro - 06-10-2005 I have seen a Maule in fsnordic. Freeware ![]() Re: C0 Level Planes - poden - 07-10-2005 Go to: http://www.simviation.com and http://www.wspilots.com Access the "prop" sections; they have quite a few single engine planes. Re: C0 Level Planes - pagir - 07-10-2005 And don't forget the default Mooney! But the Bill Lyons' are absolutly amazing. Pagir Re: C0 Level Planes - Sovek - 07-10-2005 yes yes!!! fly the bravo, thier are repaints for it on AVSIM, ones a nice red called freedom, I think I'm in love ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and a fix for the panel so you can use both tanks and an ADF gauge for it. just do a search for mooney in the 2004 panels section. Re: C0 Level Planes - S_Moore - 07-10-2005 http://67.38.117.12/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=471 Pretty neat little Cirrus SR-20. As stated above, Bill Lyons makes very cool stuff- and WS Pilots has a fantastic selection. Re: C0 Level Planes - SaVas - 07-10-2005 Regarding a Cirrus, someone recently released a payware version that looks great, though its early in the AM and I havent had enough coff....wait, its Eaglesoft. Even has the 'chute deployment if you have an engine failure that floats you down to the ground Re: C0 Level Planes - HH-60CC - 07-10-2005 Mooney fan here too. I'm descending to Juneau, Alaska in one as we speak. Re: C0 Level Planes - dtinc155 - 08-10-2005 The Mooney is definitely more challenging and fun to fly then the Cessnas. My default version seems almost inherently unstable at times. The one thing I don't like about it is the default engine sound for it. On takeoff and at cruise speeds it sounds just like an over- revved lawnmower to me! I don't suppose anybody has a better sound file for it? Re: C0 Level Planes - Dutch64 - 08-10-2005 Soundfiles? You should really try avsim.com, i think for 90% of the planes ppl have been creating soundfiles, most are really good and gives the whole simming experience a boost ![]() Re: C0 Level Planes - nonameatall - 08-10-2005 It is payware, but not overly expensive - the Beech Bonanza A36 by Dreamfleet - http://www.dreamfleet2000.com (I think that's the link!). I've been flying all my C0 with it thus far. Lovely, lovely aircraft. Can't speak highly enough of it! Re: C0 Level Planes - jimbotopoke - 09-10-2005 go to surclaro web.....millions of planes.......surclao.com.......i fly into and out of Aberdeen all the time. |
