Another asking of opinion - American Jet - 09-12-2006
Do you think this card would be good to run FsX, yes I have a 512mb of RAM but will be upgrading to 1GB soon(Just need
someone to
look up a card for me). I have a AMD Athlon Processor 2.17GHz rated at 3.00.

Im asking for someone to also look up a ram card at good price that has 512mb. If Im correct if you put 2 512mb you will get
1GB of RAM.

Do not buy 2 vid cards! If you want a 1GB ram vid card then buy one that is builded with 1GB.
This one could be possible: http://www.shopping.com/xFS?KW=7950GX2&FN=Computers&FD=72 i know $572 is a lot of money but 2x
$179.99 is almost the same ($360) but then you get a better card.
You can also go for this card: http://www.shopping.com/xFS?KW=8800GTX&FN=Computers&FD=0&x=31&y=8 which is a DX10 card and
I highly recommed this one!! this one cost just a (little) more expensive $694 but it's your choice but DO NOT buy 2x for that card you just
found it's not worth the money.

FS9 and FSX do not make use of SLI so buying two video cards won't do you any good. Use the extra money for a faster CPU or more
RAM.

Please I need someone's help, I need to know if I should start saving/working for this graphic card on Saturday, and I need to know an
idea of a good Ram card(preferably from circuitcity.com or bestbuy.com). I really need to upgrade my system for FsX and I want to get this
done before January. I would reeeeaaallllyyyy appreciate it if you guys with really good computers could help me out here...Im not really
good with my tower.

I am facing the same problem, I need to upgrade my rig ASAP, as I am now flying with 15 FPS at 800x600 and the detail settings are not
the highest, either. I will be buying a 1 Gb DDR and possibly a new vid card. I am sticking with ATI Products for now. I would gladly help
you out, but I am just as uneducated as you are. Right now I am using a single memory card, 512 Mb, Samsung. I might just end up
buying another one like that. Also, and this is my best buy ever, I have finally saved enough for Saitek X52, which will be a great
improvement over the Logitech I am no using.

cant help me. I asked for help finding a good RAM card for my computer, and trying to see if anybody could help me with this graphic card...

I understand that your upset by my comment but I'm only helping you help yourself. If you base your purchase off the opinion of people on
the internet whom you've never met...good luck to you.
All I'm saying is that there is a wealth of knowledge out there that you are not using that will be far more helpful than the opinion of people
on a message board. If you want real computer advice, ask a computer shop, that's what they do.
