Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - reignman40 - 12-10-2006 What aircraft are in the Deluxe version? You only see 20 on the flight sim x site but it says 24. Some sites say 21. http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimulatorx/product_info.html Also I saw a A380 in one official video, is the A380 in Flight Sim X? Post Edited ( 10-12-06 02:56 ) Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - SirN - 12-10-2006 Maybe someone else can tell exactly what airplanes is in X deluxe, what I can say is that I copied over all aircraft from *2004 and it partly worked allright! All my 300+ aircraft cannot be tested at once and the problem I had with a few of them was sound missing and since sound worked with the wright flyer and Spirit of St Luis I think it is possible to hack sound to work with all. Everything allright I thought I wanted the Microsoft planes from *2004... And it works great with the downloaded planes perhaps, now I need to copy the missions/historical flight breifings over to X so I can be sorted... I tested downloaded A380 no sound, Made flyable DC9 no sound, downloaded Skytech 100%ok, downloaded GoodGear blimp 100% ok and I think that the sound for thoose jets were the 747 and 737 sounds and I just need to copy to fix sound... ... The A380 is not inside MS FS X unless you make it so and it will possibly work fine with a downloaded one. Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - yvo - 13-10-2006 Sorry man, no A380 in FSX deluxe. Maybe it's been delayed for another 2 years like its real life counterpart ![]() FS is like they say " As real as it gets" I did notice the A380 in one of the videos but there's only the A320. I haven't really counted them all but the aircraft which are on the Microsoft Site pretty much covers them all. Got my copy of FSX yesterday in Holland but unfortunatly had to return it cause is had a big scratch on DVD 2. Poor Quality! ![]() cheers, Yvo Post Edited ( 10-13-06 22:26 ) Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - RareHans - 13-10-2006 Here's my Deluxe Aircraft List (no A380,btw) Airbus A321 Aircreation 582SL Ultralight Boeing 738 Boeing 744 Baron 58 (+ Garmin 1000 version) King Air 350 Bombardier CRJ700 Cessna C172SP (+ Garmin 1000 version) Cessna Caravan 208B Beaver DHC2 DG808S Sailplane DC3 Extra 300 Grumman Goose G21A Learjet 45 Maule M7 260C (ski and no ski) Mooney Bravo (+ Garmin 1000 version) Piper J3 Cub Bell 206B Robinson R22 I may have missed some, but afaik, this is about it ![]() EDIT: added Garmin1000 versions Post Edited ( 10-13-06 23:07 ) Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - reignman40 - 14-10-2006 Airbus A321 -1 Aircreation 582SL Ultralight -2 Boeing 738 -3 Boeing 744 -4 Baron 58 (+ Garmin 1000 version) -5-6 King Air 350 -7 Bombardier CRJ700 -8 Cessna C172SP (+ Garmin 1000 version) -9-10 Cessna Caravan 208B -11 Beaver DHC2 -12 DG808S Sailplane -13 DC3 -14 Extra 300 -15 Grumman Goose G21A -16 Learjet 45 -17 Maule M7 260C (ski and no ski) -18-19 Mooney Bravo (+ Garmin 1000 version) -20-21 Piper J3 Cub -22 Bell 206B -23 Robinson R22 -24 So I guess they counted those other models as more than one aircraft to come up with 24. ![]() Re: FSX Up and Running - RonMac - 14-10-2006 OK, Bought it at a Virgin Store yesterday.....quite funny in that I had to ask for it, the guy was looking uop his computer to see what it was, and three people at my back were holding FSX in their hands! Salesman just said, oops we only have 6 copies, and there are 4 being sold at one go! Had chat with other simmers, and we all agreed that we just gotta have it no matter what happens. Interestingly, we were all pretty hardcore simmers! So, have a 2.4, Gforce 5800, 2mb on board computer RAM, and 2million years experience of Fs since C64 and Bruice Artwick! Installed fine....the slowest intsallation of anything I have ever had. Easily an hour. Registration fine. Boots up..slow but we got there to welcoming screen Free flight mode chose own airport EGPF and default 737. Barren landscape! Aircraft first impressions are OK, 2D cockpit looks alright. Upper panel is a joke with only a few details. All major gauges zoomable. Views nice from aircraft. Took off, and it worked! started to up the graphics to around 40%, Scenery improved, FPS at 19fps. So, first impressions on the whole OK. More later. RonMac Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - Mac - 14-10-2006 I'm supprised to see the 777 has been quietly axed from the line-up. Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - Ryanamur - 16-10-2006 Same with the Cessna 182. But that's OK, I imported it from FS2004. Simply copy the aircraft directory found in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes The resolution of the Virtual Cockpit is not has good and we don't have the nice picture of the aircraft on the aircraft selection page (put you can still select it as you can see the name). Phil Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - jboweruk - 16-10-2006 Is it really as simple as that? How many old FS9 planes work as is though? Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - Ryanamur - 16-10-2006 Well, it worked for the default FS9 Cessna 182. My gut feeling is that it would work for most aircraft that use the default gauges but don't quote me on that. Meaning don't think of moving a PMDG 737 but you can move the default Boeing 777. Phil Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - bestonboard - 28-10-2006 Who says the A380 isn't in the Deluxe version?!? -- http://www.ajspot.com/fsxa380.jpg ...mind you it's not FLYABLE, but it's there? ![]() Also there is a very odd-looking Boeing 787! -- http://www.ajspot.com/fsx787.jpg & http://www.ajspot.com/fsx787front.jpg -- and I really hope the front of the thing when it comes out doesn't look like THAT!!! ![]() EDIT: Those who want to SEE these, just complete the Paris Airshow mission in FSX Deluxe - not sure if it's available for FSX Standard though. Happy flying! Post Edited ( 10-28-06 18:11 ) Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - Airliner - 28-10-2006 NIce! The Dreamliner's front end doesn't look quite right, though. But, it's just a prop! ![]() Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - Mac - 29-10-2006 ![]() I know it's static scenery, but ![]() Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - Airliner - 29-10-2006 Quote:Meaning don't think of moving a PMDG 737 I just caught that one - I moved my PMDG 737NG into the demo and everything worked - except the plane! ![]() The visual model was there bu the panel and everything else wasn't. It must be a gauge config thing. Maybe if I copied my entire FS9 gauge folder to FSX with no overwrites, it might work. I should get another HDD and copy the default FSX over there for full experimenting. ![]() Re: Aircraft list please from someone who has the Deluxe vesion - supersonic9910 - 03-11-2006 Quote:I know it's static scenery, but its not "STATIC" at the start of the "Paris Air show Mission" it actually taxied to the gate. ![]() but the A380 Didn't Hey maybe we can find that a380 file and modify it to be flyable, also for the 787 ![]() |
