Aerosoft Twin Otter Payload Problem - aristoteles - 05-05-2015
I have been trying to make a payload work (downloaded from the More Downloads section) for the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended. FsP doesn´t recognize any valid
payloads, even after changing the .ini file name to dsevral possibilities. Any ideas? Anyone using this fantastic aircraft with FsP?

Welcome back Aris! I have to go back and look at which payload model I use for this aircraft. Will do that when I go home for lunch and report back to
you. I do know that I never had an issue with it, as I forced a particular payload model within the FsP settings.
Also, Aris, I will move this thread over to the Customizing forum after you have responded. Sound good?

No inconvenience at all, sir! As a matter of fact, I did not get a chance to run home during lunch today and will have to take a look at the payload
model I use later this evening. Will certainly do that tonight!
Edit: I use 2 different payload models that I got from the More Downloads section. Forgive me but I don't have the specific file names but I can share the .ini names:
Twin Otter.ini
TwinOtter_BritishAir_Press.ini
I did uncheck the "this aircraft isn't pressurized" box on both because I do like to put the Otter in the 14-16,000 ft. levels. At any rate, you should not have a single issue using these with FsPX. You can force either payload model when you start the process of loading the aircraft.....under aircraft options in FsPX. I did not have to fiddle with the .ini names to get them to work. Frankly, I haven't had to do this on any payload model since the FS9 days. Let me know if you find them in the More Downloads section and have tried either one.

I forced a particular payload model within FsP settings eventually, and of course, it worked.
