By download version, do you mean the trial version?

You can fly without fsp, but you can not upload your flights to the fspworldtour site.

You need fsinn to fly online with others.

Is FSPWT restricted to FSINN only? SquawkBox can do the same thing - connect you to VATSIM network. I don't know any technical
issues not to use Squawkbox. Am I wrong?

The problem is we won't connect to VATSIM, we fly one one of fsinn's own servers.

Roger, LIL420

I've never been on any online or offline WT leg, so my question is - do we have own WT ATC service? Smile

Re: FSP World Tour - Season #3: It's Here! - DSW334 - 02-04-2008

Negative. No ATC coverage.. FSINN has it's own TCAS radar and every pilot is expected to keep clear of other traffic and find his own way
from start to finish. This is mostly done by reporting your intentions on the chat. And through chatting you agree with each other who does
what.
It can be very funny, when a dozen pilots try to land at the same airport at the same time in a warzone with 11 a/c having a problem.. Smile But
we always agree in a friendly matter who goes first and who is next etc.. Live and let live is the motto. Drink

Re: FSP World Tour - Season #3: It's Here! - Drew - 02-04-2008

However if you have rc4, that works fine online

meSmile) i have got so much school on the last that when the time was getting about 7pm i was finished prepareing for the next day and then

we always agree in a friendly matter who goes first and who is next etc.. except for Drew. He just plunges out of the sky whenever he wants...

is there already a starting date set ? I hope not tomorow because I have too reinstall whole fs9 again due scenery problems with UT CA /
AL. even after updating to 1.2 fs9 kept on crashing there.

Re: FSP World Tour - Season #3: It's Here! - Drew - 02-04-2008

It is planned as Saturday at the minute, but as nothing has been announced by Mark, i can only assume it may be put back a week?

Guess only Mark can confirm this Smile

Re: FSP World Tour - Season #3: It's Here! - DSW334 - 02-04-2008

Hmmm... I might just join in this time. I sounds like great fun, now just hope and pray I can find some free time!!! Big Grin

Re: FSP World Tour - Season #3: It's Here! - Joeflyer - 02-04-2008

Yeah, we all acted as our own ATC on the WT. Drew never announced his intentions during take off or landing....with the exception of how
much beer he was going to consume with his good pal OttoBig Grin

Any of you newbies to the WT happen to include Otto as your FO, I don't wanna be within 1000 miles of yaWink

BTW, Drew, did you want to buy Nelda back?

Re: FSP World Tour - Season #3: It's Here! - FsP Dennis - 02-04-2008

Haha, Joe remember Otto on the KBOS - TNCM leg we made? lol
Otto took control over 2/4 of my throttles Hot Probably the funniest flight i've ever flown Big Grin

Re: FSP World Tour - Season #3: It's Here! - Drew - 02-04-2008

Im being made to look bad here Big Grin

Joe, what has she been up to since i last had her? I may look for some new young asian instead, im sure Martin will have one for sale Smile

Re: FSP World Tour - Season #3: It's Here! - Joeflyer - 02-04-2008

Well, Drew, Nelda has been a pitiful sight since you sold her. She stopped exercising, she's drinking heavily, she's eating like a starved
pig(and looking like one every day), and I hear that she frequently screams, "Drew! Drew! Drew!", uncontrollably while she sleeps. Good
gawd, man, what did you do to the poor lady before you gave her up??!! Well, I have to giver her away...she was no use to me in that
pitiful, drooling condition.

I'm currently scrounging around in the Philippines for a lovely co-pilotSmile

@Dennis...how could I forget? lol BTW, I'm still trying to figure out how you consistently got that 747 traveling at Mach 1.5 during those online flightsWell

Re: FSP World Tour - Season #3: It's Here! - Drew - 02-04-2008

ok, i guess i will see what martin has to offer me for cockpit entertainment Smile

ps, if tour starts Saturday, Liverpool (my football (soccer to you lot who dont have a clue Turning ) team) play at midday, so you can expect me
flying with the upmost respect to all aviation rules Wink Smile
