Re: Blog devellopment thread about FsPassengers3D for Prepar3D - Squad69 - 01-12-2015 Hi ! Could you make it compatible with P3D V3 ? But it would be at the end of beta only, just to test on a large range of hardware and software configurations Post Edited ( 12-02-15 05:45 ) Re: Blog devellopment thread about FsPassengers3D for Prepar3D - Speedypidz - 02-12-2015 I love the new style :-) Great news. I'ld be happy to help then ![]() Re: Blog devellopment thread about FsPassengers3D for Prepar3D - DanSteph - 04-12-2015 Development News I released a new Fsx/Fsx-Steam version available here only: (pre-release) http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=4508 Why a new Steam version ? All versions share the same code (apart some specific code), this is done so I can add/change features without pain and risk of copy/past error on all versions in the same time. I made major changes in the core code lately which might help with win 10 compatibility and may cure some problems on some installations and I need those changes to be validated. A new steam version in pre-release is ideal for that. Thanks to download and give feedback about this new version if you have FSX/Steam. Development News about Prepar3D version Beta test will start soon -I'm working on the doc yet, English and French are ready for correction, I'm working on the German doc. -After that I'll check that all seem okay and the beta will start. I you have PrePar3D 2.5 (>12943) or Prepar3D 3.0 you can subscribe for the beta test by mail: -You must be a customer of the FsPassengersX version. -You should have free time for tests in the incoming 20 days, I cannot wait a feedback or a reply during two or three days. -Send a verbose mail introducing you and your configuration (hardware software) -Send also your FsPassengersX unlock code (Make sure you send it to dan -a-t- FsPassengers.com ![]() Tests are done on a private forum specifically designed for my beta test. Wish I had enough time to spend on helping with the beta test. I would jump all over it! Re: Blog devellopment thread about FsPassengers3D for Prepar3D - jenstt - 04-12-2015 Great great news! Re: Blog devellopment thread about FsPassengers3D for Prepar3D - Andre - 04-12-2015 Gladly want to help you Dan but what\s the benefit of of P3D ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBEhgChigiE search the 7 differents items ? Ok the scenery seems to be a little sharper. We had that before with other prg's. Not to be unkind, but why all that work for basicly no improvement? Re: Blog devellopment thread about FsPassengers3D for Prepar3D - jenstt - 04-12-2015 Quote:Andre wrote:I personally don't think this is the right place for a discussion about this. I am personally a big P3D(3) fan and see a huge difference between it and FSX. Both in graphics as in performance and memory management. Leave alone the huge amount of new techniques which are starting to be discovered and used by both scenery as aircraft developers. The market share in P3D users is also the only one which is booming so I think it is a right call to make this great piece of software available for P3D too. But as I said, take a look at some other forums and maybe you'll get more feedback there. This is just one way that itrs difference, and to be honest it iisa pretty big differance Edit:my point is that it is designed to be used for commercial purposes so they make all the graphics more realistic Post Edited ( 12-05-15 13:01 ) Re: Blog devellopment thread about FsPassengers3D for Prepar3D - DanSteph - 05-12-2015 Development News - About incoming beta Thanks for those that have sent a mail for beta test, sorry, I'm too busy to reply yet: 1--Last minute critical adjustments <----I'm here yet 2--Deep control of the incoming beta (It doesn't make sense to make you test a buggy version) 3--Preparing the beta test website 4--Answering your mail, giving you beta website access. For those that have sent a mail, can you please send me another one with your desired nickname for your account on the beta test website ? (I have two Gerard, take this in account for your nickname) Thanks ![]() Off-topic about FSX vs P3D Well, there is a big difference when you have a good hardware and you push the sliders and the cfg to the max. With the same setting my FSX don't render the same and the FPS are higher in Prepar3D with more elements on screen. This said the "not for entertainment" is probably a joke. It's still microsoft flight simulator with better graphics. If you want to continue this discussion please open a new thread for that !!!! Thanks I'll delete further comments about this. |
