Hey Dan!

I got myself the new PMDG MD11 and I was wondering whether you can tell if it uses the FSX "belt" function or not.

Almost all testers are on the PMDG yet Wink I know the 747 don't use it, I would say at first no (I'm not sure PMDG is aware of this new fsx
value) but only one testers can answer to you.

Sure it would be more cool but I cannot do anything here...If it's not the case you can still use mini report button, keyboard key or fsp
menu...

For transfers from PAX '04 to FSX will it be possible to only transfer the pilot with just hours and rank? I would like to start a fresh company on a
new map.

Really can't wait for this! I've barely touched FSX without FsPax!

Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and Blog ! - DanSteph - 24-10-2008

Nobody tried yet but yes...no reason it don't work.

Copy your FsP04 database folder in FsPX database folder, start, create new company, transfer pilot...

Database is "up compatible" you can continue your career but of course if you copy from
FsPX to FsP04 you'll not have all new feature... possibly you'll have "wrong report" with
FsPX flight... In the fsp04 last patch I'll forbid to load a FsPx database.

Just a small thought dan, any chance of Pilot being randomly sick? or duty times?

Hi Dan. I'm a fan of you're Work, and I have also bought the previous version for FS9.
I'm also seeing forvard to you're new release in FSX

I know the product is nearing a release, but is it impossible to release it now/next week. I'm thinking of the economic situation in the
world. I think that after cristmass we all are goeing to be poore. You chould work realy fast these days,
if you want to earn som monney on it. You do not need to work with all the new and fancy stuff, you can implement them later, can't you?

It's allways wice to start earning monney, and then earn more monney on upgraded versions later.

Just a thought, and you might already have thought about it.

Have a nice Weekend

This post smacks of desperation. Have you seen what people are resorting to Dan. They are begging!

It's official. FSPassengers is a drug and we are all junkies. Cool

NEWS:

Tire blowing in case of very hard landing, I plan to add maybe a bad maintenance inflate problem that can
trigger also a tire blowing (seing NTSB report it happened for real)

New in flight report with detailled information about pax hunger, service time, food or drink aboard, service limitation and current status of
crew (can serve or not) On FsP04 not knowing all this was very annoying...

Wow that is an excellent feature, tire blowing up.
Thanks,
Jorge Rojas

Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and Blog ! - DanSteph - 26-10-2008

-500 fpm landing you have 30% chance that it blow up, -700=100% chances...

Now try to stay on landing strip with one tire blown Wink

As many FsP failure teach something this might teach that one can't assume a flight is complete and relax until
Parking brake are set and pax gone.

Actually I have for real. A single tire on a boggy (right outer on the King Air) and besides the loud bang when it happened and trying to
figure out what we hit; it was a non-event. It was only during the walk around that we realized the extent of what happened as the rubber
was fairly well shredded on that side. I don't know if every tandem gear airplane would react in the same way, but a blown tire on a King
Air was nothing to write home about.

We never did figure out why that tire blew, ground tried to blame it on us for breaking to hard, but that is generally not the case as when
you do there are tell tail flat spots on the tires that didn't blow, or you blow multiple tires at once. I assume that we must have run over a
piece of FOD on the runway.

Something that did cause one of our airplanes to run off the runway at Nogales, AZ was a failure of one of the propellers to reverse properly causing dissymmetry of thrust on the ground. Pulled one of our BE30s right off the runway in a few seconds according to the pilots it happened to. Good news is we did not have any passengers on board at the time. Caused me to adjust my technique for short field operations with maximum reverse to pause in the ground fine position before going into the full reverse.
