UPDATE:

Utilities menu finished, all work as expected.

I reworked the "aircraft rank & price browser" for FsX.

As said above each option of this menu display first a help text (sort of introduction) then when you exit the help it launch the utilities
(either external as voicepack, browser, payload model, open folder or internal as backup)

Well Done Dan :D

The "Utilities" feature will be great, can't wait till the launch of FSPassengers X.

16 Hours is a lot on one program, just go's to show how much effort your putting into it. And If your putting in 16 Hours in it,
FSPassenger's X will be brilliant then.

Keep up the good work Dan, Smile

Matt

Do you have EBMB in your database?
It stands for Melsbroek, and it is the military airport in Belgium where the C-130 is stationned

Hi Dan / All !!

For the release I knew what a beta is and I perfectly understood what Dan was saying but I think it's a so great news that this release will
be there.
It's the sign and the step to the finish line so FSP X final release will be there soon... that's what I understand and even if there is some
time left before the final one we are closer to the end than the beginning ! Great news, isn't it ?? Wink

Dan, just an idea about the missing airports... No time for me to search them all but did you look in the missions folder ? I remember a
mission where there was a "secret" area. That was the one where you begin with B206 and then follow a plane with a Lear 45 for a spy pursuit.
So did you give a look in those "specials" feature ?

See you soon,
Stronger and higher Dan !! ;o)
Cheers to all,
Laurent

I think you should make it so water landings are possible, kinda like you did with belly landings; except it's harder to do of course.

Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and Blog ! - jeffreycor - 29-03-2008

That isn't FSP that causes you to crash in the water. It is a combination of FS engine and the aircraft design. Most aircraft if you try a water
landing it will result in a crash no mater how gently you try it.

Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and Blog ! - DanSteph - 30-03-2008

UPDATE:

Problem: I had more and more features to add to the payload dialog and this one had already 14 button, confusing for
newbies, bad ergonomy, not good. So, I removed 4 button and moved them in a new dialog "Additionnal features"

Payload dialog is back to more simplicity and this new dialog allow more cool feature.

Let me know if something isn't clear in this new dialog Wink

in progress... (banner and dialog may change)

Cheers

Dan

Simple: you fly here and you get only the ICAO in report, no airport name or country name. Wink

Hey Dan first of all thank you for your HARD work Smile I have a question. I see all these new features for FSP X but are you going to do a big update for FSP. Some people might not be ready for FSX
yet.

Thanks,
Clement

Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and Blog ! - jeffreycor - 30-03-2008

Amazing Dan! I love these additional features menu. Looking better and more exciting all the time!

Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and Blog ! - Airbus_A380 - 30-03-2008

Wow Worship

So many features,

I was wondering Dan, can we toogle about with these features while in FSX?

Say as if I had two sets of GPWS going off, and I wanted to turn the FSPassengers one off. Could I do that in-game, or would I have to go
to the Load Aircraft feature?

Other than that, all looks good.

And like everyone else is saying can't wait for the launch Smile
