Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - Swift - 08-02-2008 yea, great feature but as an option please ^^ i'm a bit lamme Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - jeffreycor - 08-02-2008 I like the aircraft can't teleport a lot, but I can see a difficulty with it combined with only being able to own an aircraft once. Having it optional is a great workaround to fit in the best of both. Or perhaps a delivery charge to move the aircraft to where the new flight start so it will be there for use quickly but will cost. I don't know the feasability of that in the program. Great news on the engine failures! More failures would be very intersting as well if you're able to do it. Come back, sync the time back up, and start another flight. I'll do that for almost a week (or until my computer crashes ;P) Anyway, I'd still love to beta the new FSP. I've beta'd several programs in the past, and I'm also a programmer. Actually, while I'm at it, I have an idea for FSP... Make a career, which it already does, but actually have FSP CREATE a persistent schedule. So you do one flight, park it, then you can pause or save the flight in FS and continue it later, but it's persistent, and you have to conform to the schedule or get docked money, points, demoted, etc. I think that'd be VERY cool, especially since Just Flight officially announced they will not be converting their Airliner Pilot addon to FSX. They just have the Cargo Pilot thing now, but I much prefer abusing passengers to abusing non-living cargo. Knowhatamean? Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - DanSteph - 10-02-2008 About "no warp" option I'll do some brainstorming to keep it simple and straight, there is several small problem. What if you crash ? restart from last good location ? restart from a declared base ? from last take-off location ? Anyway I just finished to recover all failures, they are all back, I'll start to add more. Working , working (yeah I know it's saturday night ![]() Dan Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - jeffreycor - 10-02-2008 Sounds like it's coming right along, this is great news! Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - DanSteph - 10-02-2008 Update: Just thought it would be cool to edit your aircraft's name, so no more "beech paint 2" if you want but "my best aircraft" or "Beechcraft Baron 58 Liverpool" or "Baron red livery" etc etc... You'll be able to edit it at any time. Tested, the database allow that with total compatibilitiy with older db. (thanks to empty space made in DB while planning such futur upgrade) Made a nice flight with ItalVFR photorealistic scenery tonight... http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=11298 What ? I do waste time playing FsP instead of programming ? ![]() For sure !!!... you cannot make a good game if you don't *play* and enjoy it ! Also it give more idea, help to track hidden bug etc etc... ![]() Dan Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - jeffreycor - 10-02-2008 Great idea! I've always unofficially named my planes, this will make it even more fun. Glad to hear the older db will work as planned also :D Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - DaNuTzZu - 10-02-2008 FsPassengers for FSX is ready? I`am from Romania. Please answer`me.10x Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - jeffreycor - 10-02-2008 No nothing there says it is ready just that he is making good progress on getting it done. We wish it was ready ![]() Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - Tracker801 - 10-02-2008 Hmmmm, sorry , can't help myself..... 'Lovely Connie 1' 'Lovely Connie 2' yadayadayada oh, how could I forget "My Beautiful Connie' ![]() I know the above is a nice invitation for Joey to add his 'Connie Bashing' ATR 725 LMAO FSPWT gave me a nice name for my Concorde as well.... "CloudCooker I"..... guess who came up with that one ![]() Nah, it would be a nice option and would enable many people to build up a company comprising of several of the same A/C though I guess it would turn FSP more into an economics sim for them. Very nice idea there Dan. Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - Delare - 10-02-2008 With career mode, would it be possible to add more airline realism? Like you could optionally have the airline your flying for give you the routes to fly? And that you get a schedual of your week. Monday - Boston -> Paris (Additional info) Tuesday - No flights this day (Additional info) Wednesday - Paris -> Boston (Additional info) Thursday - Boston -> Miami (Additional info) And so on... It would have to be optional though, as not maybe everyone would like this option, but I think this would go along nicely with the "begin from your last possition" feature that you might add to the program : ) And you would have to have the option to decline flights, and the option to ask for another if you for example can't be assed to fly long flights lol. Post Edited ( 02-10-08 22:34 ) Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - ameval - 10-02-2008 Updates look awesome, cant wait to use them ![]() Regards Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - Flying Monkey - 11-02-2008 In my opinion, the best addition would be the possibility to save an FsPassenger flight in progress. I know it's easier said than done because there are lots of things to save and some (like failures) probably won't accept to load properly, but I'd be happy to save flights that have no emergency only and handle emergencies real time. I also know many will say that you can't save in real life (try using that argument with your girl friend when it s dinner or bed time, it doesn t work), but the truth is that it's been nearly one year that I cannot find the time to fly for more than 30 min. Usually, this means I do a pre flight and I must already save, then I do the climb another day etc etc. So that means I will nearly never be able to use FsP anymore, except for super short hops with some turbo props... ![]() |
