Hello,

Some encouragement from France or our small virtual company looks forward to the output Fs for Passenger P3DV3

Please check out the Dan multiplayer particularly as it seems on the V3

We still have problems with other software such as Active Sky nex or GSX ground services ...

Thanks again for your work

I do not think in the past 50 years I would expect Christmas with as much impatience

Holaf

Thanks for encouragment Wink

For "medical" idea, this is in the air since a very long time.
It's not as simple as it seem, the program must first ensure to have a reachable airport for this aircraft
then it must calculate how much time to reach it for this aircraft..

etc etc...

*thinking out loud*
...well... mrhhhh...In fact, the most simple would be to assume that the pilot might return to the departure airport, if he find another one
in the meaning time it's fine to. Its all about delay.

Coding might be a bit complex, because it interact with a lot of things, failures, final report, enroute report etc. etc.
But it can be done of course.... I deal with much more complexity since a long time now Smile

WELL !!!

The most annoying for me surprisingly are the voices sound. This feature will need at least 10 more announcements.
-Where to find copilots sounds that match all the existing voicepack ?
-For attendant it doesn't matter.... but I must find quality sound (good actor play & good recording)

...Give me the voice sounds and I do it Smile

In brief: recall me this once p3d version is out.

Development News

Someone asked about release date, I have only one month left until Christmas so I doubt that P3D version will be out before.
I'll try to have it at least for Christmas, if P3D version 3.0 take longer than planned I might release first a P3D 2.5 only version
then issue a full P3D 2.5 & 3.0 version later. say within one month maximum.

Hi Dan,

I'm new in the forum, so thank you for let me participate. For years I heard about FSP, but never bought it, cuz I was so busy trying to get FSX working fine, and trying to
scrape a few more frames that no longer had time to devote to deepen the knowledge of add ons not considered necessary.

Now with Prepar3D v3, things are different. Finally I can start the simulator, and just fly. And that is why my curiosity drove me here again, so I ever thought I could be
very interesting and exciting fly using your product. So if I have waited eight years, it will not come to me a few weeks. I will wait anxious, VISA in hand, until you've
finally finished.

Thank you very much in advance for this great add on and by the time you spend it.

Greetings from Spain,

Gerard Cabezon

P.S.: excuse my poor english Wink

Hello Dan.

I will! :-)

Thank you for the update. Every time you give us more news the Prepar3d version becomes closer.

I'm glad you considered the idea. For me it makes complete sense and looks like it would fit perfectly on the scope of what FsPassengers is. Indeed
the voices are a concern, although I don't see it as a deal breaker. Of course it would be somewhat strange to find that every other emergency had
voice interaction and this one had not. But those decisions lie entirely with the developer and owner of the software! :-)

Maybe you could take that idea as a starting point of revision/upgrade of FsPassengers. An FsPax V2. New voice recordings for the software, new
dialogues. Less flirty flight attendants, maybe? After all we've been hearing the same announcements and voices for almost 10 years now. That would be
a cool project to start after you've finished importing FsPax to Prepar3d.

After all it's 2015 and every company is charging for software updates. We've come to accept that new content equals labour, and that should be paid
for. I'm sure your customers would be happy to pay for new contents on a future version of FsPax.

As a P3Dv3 user, are you saying that you would be able to release a v2.5 now and the v3 within the next month or the v3 within a month after Xmas? Aside from asking
that, I am extremely thankful that you have created a current version of FSpax and will be usable in P3Dv2/3+. FSPax is the only addon that allows immersion in flight
from start up to shut down. Additionally, I like to use the war zones and start a thrill ride flight to create a war sortie. Basically take a A2A warbird and fly it low over a war
zone and try and get a 100% passenger satisfaction before getting too much Flak damage. Its kinda like a dog fight and if I am able to get 100% before having to end the
flight due to damage, then I had a successful mission. Anything lower then 100% is what I consider the missions success rate. Just another example of how one can use
FSPax for a new level of immersion.

Month after Xmas.
Probably less than one month but I'll keep you informed here anyway.
The 3.0 release might need only some fix and be ready at same time or one week later, or it might be more complicated than planned and need one
month.I didn't installed 3.0 yet, I don't know if it will be a breeze or a hell to adapt but I doubt they have changed everything..

Development News

The unlock system for FsPassengersP3D is now ready and functional, I had to rewrite also the online part (codes are not the same than X version), I
tested FsPassengersX unlock and it work.

STILL TODO on P3D 2.5 944:
-A bug with cascading dialogues not centering as in FsX, don't know why, I should investigate.

Once done, I'll install Prepar3D 2.5 945 and perform my complete check utility (see above) to see what did changed and how much work I have on this
version.

Re: Blog devellopment thread about FsPassengers3D for Prepar3D - DanSteph - 20-11-2015

Okay windows centering problem solved...

Now what the hell with LM's patch/version policy... ??? The 2.5.12945 is not available any more Grrr

I started on 944 and stick with it because I wanted that users have the two three last version compatible.
Given the patch policy of LM (need a full reinstall) I bet many people don't update once their version is set.

I have the latest 946 and I can start working on it but...

Does someone have the full 2.5.12945 install file ? I can download at 1.7Mb/s (two hours)

Development News

Good news, I installed the 2.5.12946 (still miss the 945)
and ran my "critical functions utility" (see above), here is the report:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
FsPassengers ver. Nov 21 2015
Check All Criticals Functions LOG started 21.11.2015 - 00:48
Testing on this Flight simulator version: Prepar3D 2.5.12946

blablah boring log report stuff...

blablah another boring stuff...

......

Test completed ok ! No problems on this version. Flower
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

It does not mean that there is nothing to do or absolutely no problems, but it's very encouraging at first... Smile

Looks like my New Year is going to be rather fun. P3D for Xmas, FsPassengers P3D for Xmas (with luck).

Plus all my current content = AWESOME!

Keep up the good work Dan.

If you can find the install files for 12943 I can make FsPassengers also compatible with this version. It seem they didn't revolutionize the dll since
a long time it might be a breeze.

At worse I think I can even make it compatible with only one beta tester on 943 that launch my critical test utility. If the test pass 100%, 5mn of
work and it will be compatible. If the test fail, I'll see after the first release about lower versions. (943, 942 etc)

It worth a try anyway...

Let med download a copy of your FsPax for Prepar3d and I can see if it will work on my P3D v3? :-) :-)

Re: Blog devellopment thread about FsPassengers3D for Prepar3D - DanSteph - 22-11-2015

Thanks Wink
But I solve the last small glitch on 946 then I'll download the 3.0 to have a first look. I'll have the answer in a couple of days at worse.
