Last night I had an idea also: I plan to give more crewpack with FsPX ideally I would want to bundle it with almost 10 crew pack.
So I'll have to find peoples that can record voice (I may pay some fee for this work)

Sounds like an ace feature. I wouldn't mind recording some british announcements, or co-pilot sayings. I also speak spanish if you need
help with that xD

Thanks for keeping us updated - any other new features for FsP X/2004V2?

And I'm not going to be involved in the pricing for the products, but I think FsP 2004 should become €25.00, the price for FsP X (for
FsP 2004 owners) should be between €20-€25 and the original price for FsP X €30.00. These are just my ideas xD
but you make a living via this, and are close with most customers, so what I said might be too low or too high for your liking Wink

Quote:FsP 2004 v2: €25.00 (free for existing customers to update)
FsP X Upgrade: €20.00-€24.99
FsP X: €30.00

Hi Dan,
I've heard, that you put several sound languages in FSPX...
I'm playing you're game a lot, and I was wondering if you maby want to put a Dutch sound pack in FSPX, Because I'm dutch myself...
But I understand ,that It is not so easy to find some English people who can speak DutchWink

Cheers,
David

I am assuming you have seen this KLM ?

(Copy/past that link into your browser to get it to work) Smile

Well it depend of the final size of FsPX

Actually a pack make about 8.3mb, 10 voicepack would make 83mb, a bit too much for the default install I think.
Maybe 5 and the other would be available by a download link into FsPX that will open directly the page with the "other"
official Pack ?

About dutch why not, but I plan to have much english pack and then maybe other language but it depend if I find
peoples that can record exceptionnal voice pack as the "default" one. (Jaykae's wife voice Wink
I'll see that a bit later when VoicePackCreator will be complete. Also it may be more wise to record
"official" pack later when I'll have added all the "new sound" of FsPX (engine on fire etc etc)

Update: Still working on VoicePackCreator, it work almost 80% but still miss some feature. (the base is here you can already
record voicepack but it miss various effects)

Dan

I belive the language packs that don't make it to the final release will be available for upload/download at "more downloads" section?

Dan

Perhaps include with FsP X:

British co-pilot
British crew
American co-pilot
American crew
Australian co-pilot
Australian crew

that's 6 (3 languages x2), then people can download the "voice bumper back" which would contain:

French co-pilot
French crew
Dutch co-pilot
Dutch crew
Spanish co-pilot
Spanish crew
Faroese co-pilot
Faroese crew

and whatever other languages people think should be added (german? italian?)

it is a good point lol, i'm not too bothered about the size of it due to the fact that the programme is just brilliant =D but that compressing thing
is a good idea.

Re: FsPassengers for FSX official note and please ! - Ali310 - 31-01-2008

yeah size isn't an issue for me either, but if Dan thinks it would be, then I think there should be a bumper voice pack containing french,
spanish, italian etc. (in .rar format). up to him..
