Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #78 - 79) - Joeflyer - 09-09-2007 I just installed the MWCR scenery available at the WT site. It's nice scenery but it's hard on frame rates due to some rotating(animated) tower cranes that are located near the airport. Using TrackIR while in VC to pan around the cockpit is the toughest on frame rates when panning towards the side windows. It becomes a slide show ![]() Anyway, would anyone know what file I could delete from this scenery that would eliminate those animated cranes? Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #78 - 79) - Dutch64 - 09-09-2007 Joe, you can just rename some bgl files in the scenery folder one by one and see which ones removes the cranes (among other things ![]() the texture folder is 66 mb which is quite huge in fact, it might be the cause also... Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #78 - 79) - Captain_Smith - 09-09-2007 awwww. It's almost finished ![]() I can remember it for as long as I can rememeber. Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #78 - 79) - Joeflyer - 09-09-2007 Thanks, Martin. You're gonna make me do some hard work now, huh? ![]() Here are screenshits from yesterday's leg... Guess who joined Pierre and I yesterday at SLCB. Yep, that's Vegas: ![]() This was an ATR kind of day, a stormy one at that: ![]() It took a while to finally find clear wx and a decent cruise altitude: ![]() As I was first to arrive SCDA, I was about 25 mins too early, so I flew a few race tracks west of the coastline and Vegas was happy to take the approach for RWY 18. I followed after his approach into the soup: ![]() That rabbit sure looks funny where it's positioned. Either that or I drank too much beer: ![]() As this was a looong runway, I flew along at 20 ft until I neared the last high speed turn off. Touched down where I needed to be: ![]() Vegas had already exited FSinn before Pierre made his approach, so I awaited Pierre's arrival. Pierre makes a firm but centerline landing: ![]() Sir Pierre is not fond of flying race tracks to burn off time. He prefers to taxi around the airport to give his paxs an up close and personal view of the surrounding terrain: ![]() Another fun day was had on the FsP World Tour ![]() Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #78 - 79) - DBE - 09-09-2007 Great pics all of you! ![]() Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #78 - 79) - DSW334 - 10-09-2007 nice pics Joe.. Unfortunately I couldn't make it. I played a bit around with the pmdg 737 to see if I could get that magenta line to work properly. After a few hours I decided it was a no go and time to hit the format button twice... I installed Vista and over the next few days I will install proper video drivers and fs9. SO hopefully I'll be back thursday night.. p.s. Drew.. This is the first time I ever see a british guy desperately asking for some dutch people... ![]() Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #78 - 79) - vegasflyboy2004 - 10-09-2007 Glad I got to make it. It was too short of a flight! This will be the last flight of the tour for me. I won't be able to make Saturday's flight as I am taking my lovely wife to the Air Force ball. Will post some pics in our garb when we get them. Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #78 - 79) - pegase - 10-09-2007 Nice job with your camera Joe, and this livery is ![]() Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #78 - 79) - DBE - 11-09-2007 ...And continued here: http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2876 |
