Re: FsP Community Flight - Drew - 30-12-2005

heathrow to amsterdam is not a very long flight, doubt fl350 would be reached, or if so, not for long at all

just looked with fsnav, and its only 33 minutes, and in a 737 you do not reach FL330

Re: FsP Community Flight - WBHoenig - 30-12-2005

Then use option two... I'm not good with my European geography. I thought that it was like a three hour flight!!

Re: FsP Community Flight - Dutch64 - 30-12-2005

Re: FsP Community Flight - skenmy - 30-12-2005

Okay - the server is up and ready for up to 200 connections! (Anyone that wishes to link FSD servers please let me know by email
(paul[AT]skenmy[DOT]com) and I will get this setup with you!)

We are running the very latest FSD build - so please download FSInn v1.1 Beta! That way we can all enjoy the best the server and client have to offer.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1) Download FSInn v1.1 from http://www.mcdu.com/
2) Install FSInn and CoPilot (Comes with FSInn)
3) Start FS and Park at a gate (NEVER EVER EVER EVER START ON A RUNWAY!!!!)
4) Goto the "CoPilot" Menu and choose "Inn Control Panel". The program will now generate an aircraft database, this may take a little while depending
on the aircraft you have installed! It will then connect you to a multiplayer session.
5) Once connected, click the "SET" button in the bottom right hand corner of the Inn Control Panel.
6) In the new windows, click the + sign next to "Networks", then click Net2.
7) The details for this screen are as follows:

ID: <PERSONAL> *
Password: <PERSONAL> *
Net Specific Callsign: <BLANK>
Net Label: FsP
Server: 63.246.145.98:6809
Voice: TS VA Mode
TS VA Mode URL: teamspeak://63.246.145.98:6810
UNICOM Channel: FsP Community Flight
UNICOM Freq: 122.800
Voice ATIS URL: <BLANK>

* = See the end of this post

8) Click the + sign next to "General", and then click "General"
9) Enter in your callsign and pilot details! Anything you dont know leave as the default setting.
10) Close the Options window by click on the small blue X in the bottom left.
11) Click the button labelled "FsP" in the Inn Control Panel.
12) You are now online and connected! Please continue to look through the FSInn settings to optimise them to your system - especially the "Peer to
Peer" connections section!

Personal Details
The ID and Password fields have had to be created individually. E-Mail me at the above address about getting an ID and Password and I will email you
your own personal one ASAP! I have space for 200 on this server - if other servers link this will update!

option 2 is 2 hours 58mins according to fsnav in a 737 lol

Re: FsP Community Flight - crowebird - 30-12-2005

Actully I like the idea of FsP virtual airlines, look how many members we would get of the bat, and it could grow and bring in more people
to FsP, I would work at fully automated parts for the Va, and the site even. We could have somthing that implements FsP to its fullest....

It would be that you have to make each flight from the landing airport... i.e t/o at ksfo and land at kden your next flight has to be at kden,
theres so many ideas! lol...

I think its a good idea and theres so many people that could help and get it going, so many good ideas to end a bad event on FsP forums

Re: FsP Community Flight - WBHoenig - 30-12-2005

I like option 2... But more like 3h30 min from my perspective... I climb slowely.

Drew... Can you put a sticky on this?
