if you read any of the posts regarding the blown tire issue, you would know that Dan IS working on this option, and if you read
the posts, you would know Dan has been quite ill for some time. He is feverishly working on catching up on emails, etc. I'm not going to
ask you people to be patient about this particular issue because it won't do any good as far as I can see.

The formum mods say otherwise ....Dan IS working on this option.
And i really hope it comes ....just blown another tire ....the landing was a bit rough :D
But 391 ft/min should hardly pop a tire on an old Starliner lockheed.

That's exactly what I've stated, so how is it considered "otherwise"? Besides, I wouldn't have stated Dan is working on a patch if he hadn't
said it himself. And, I'll say again...Dan will let us know when he has completed the project. Until then, the questions regarding WHEN a
patch will be released will be ignored by me anyway.

Re: Blowing tires on every landing - Drew - 21-10-2009

So if dan is working on a adding an option to disable the tyre blown issue, what was the point of the poll (
http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=7731 ) where the results voted against the option Wonder

Exactly

Re: Blowing tires on every landing - damocles - 22-10-2009

It's really easy to avoid blown tires...

..LEARN TO FLY AND LAND......I can't believe this still going on....

Are people with issues using a keyboard to fly - if so, do it right with a yoke or at very least a cheap £20 joystick.

...and save us from this tedium.

please.

Re: Blowing tires on every landing - Powerke - 22-10-2009

I myself am still struck with disbelief on how this community is devided in 2 parts.

And i find it disturbing on how 1 part keeps fighting against an option that makes the game more enjoyable
for a whole lot of people.
I dont see those nay sayers complaining about the time acceleration option...goin 16X faster ...real realistic.
Or the fact that you can customise a good part of the other things in the FSPX config file.

If the nay sayers want realism ....fly a real plane.

Let the people that want to enjoy the game ....enjoy it in the way they want ....not the way you want.

For the record....i dont mind realism in a game/simulator....as long as it is realistic.
It is known that tires dont blow as fast in real life as they do in FSPX.

So get off that high horse ....accept that not everybody is as perfect as you.
And try to keep things polite.

If you want to argue ...post arguments and facts...dont lower yourself to flinging dirt just to satisfy your
sense of superiority.

Cincerly ....me

"If the nay sayers want realism ....fly a real plane."

We do.

I'll bet that your the kind of kid that purchases a new game for your Playstation then goes home and downloads the cheat codes from the internet.
Consider yourself grumped at.

Re: Blowing tires on every landing - damocles - 22-10-2009

....the whole point is that this is a non-issue if you do things properly and I was in that place months back.

I had the blown tires thing when I first bought FSpassengers and it was frustrating but then I realised I was the one doing it all wrong
and I couldn't fly. But then I read up on landing techniques/protocol and I can land perfectly nearly all the time, unless there's a problem/failure -
acquiring knowledge and putting that into practice has nothing to do with high horse attitudes or lofty sensibilities...it's about seeing a problem
and learning how to resolve it.

This, without doubt, has made me a better virtual pilot. FSX and all it's add-ons is considerably cheaper than the real thing but I, and most here,
want something that has some element of reality and the challenges associated with that.....otherwise it's just another game.

....**cough**it's not a game**cough**

Now, next topic.....XP or Vista?.....:D :D :D ....

Re: Blowing tires on every landing - Daza XIII - 22-10-2009

Not having the best computer I’ve not been able to upgrade to X and I’m still happily flying FS9.

So…. When’s my patch coming to have tyre blowing put into my old version of FSP. Oh yes, it’s ok for all you new forum members and
your lovely Flight Sim X but it’s the older users like me that were paying for this product first so we should get preferential treatment.
Beer
Dan. I wish to officially start a movement to get you to abandon all work on the patch to remove tyre blowing from FSPX and immediately
start work on a patch to add a tyre blowing into my old FSP.
Worry Worry Worry

Like we didn't pay for the product....!!!!!!!
You are asuming to much my friend.
For somebody of 41 years old you act like 14 years old

Re: Blowing tires on every landing - Daza XIII - 22-10-2009

Yes but I paid first and that makes me much more important.
Long live the Popular Passengers Front Of Judea !!! Baaa

(you may need to have watched the Life of Brian to get that)
