RUN-UP PROCEDURES
1. Set parking brakes.
2. Fuel selector to front tank.
3. Advance throttle to 1750 RPM. Check manifold pressure 23''.
4. Mixture check; set to rich (no more then 25 RPM drop), set to lean (no decrease when mixture control moves through half travel).
5. Propeller to full decrease (full forward), check for at least 600 RPM drop. Manifold pressure should not exceed 29''hg. Propeller to full increase (full backwards), Repeat.
6. Magneto check, maximum 100 RPM drop.
7. Carburetor heat, check for drop in RPM and increase carburetor temperature.
8. Pitot heat, check for load meter increase.
9. Retard throttle, check idle 450-500 RPM.
10. Mixture check, move mixture lever slowly forward until maximum RPM has been obtained and RPM starts to decrease with further movement of the lever.
11. Advance throttle from idle to 2000 RPM, check for smooth acceleration; Generator should kick in at around 1200 RPM, instruments all "in the green".
12. Retard throttle, check for smooth decrease in RPM, back to ground operation range 1200 to 1600 RPM.
13. Set flaps to take-off position.
14. Set all navigation and communication radios.

3. Check if magneto cuts out at 700-800 RPM.
4. Mixture to idle cut-off (full rearwards).
5. Ignition switch to off after propeller stop.
6. Fuel selector to off.
7. All radio and electrical switches to off, expect generator switch.
